Out of office assistant

I do not have the option under tools to create an out of office message. How
can I do this?

Are you connected to an Exchange server? If not you would need to set up
rules and do it that way, as well as leave the PC and outlook running
continuously.

I am connected by a router. Any words on how to set up rules?

Simple rule "If the message is to me, reply with a template". Have you
tried looking at what is there yet?

BEst bet is to see if your ISP offers "vacation messages" since they can filter out spam at their end better than you can at yours.
