Out-of-office rule won't rely

My out-of-office rule in Outlook 2002 is created, checked off so it should
run but won't send any reply messsages.

It was working but an error occurred causing Outlook to uncheck the rule
whwnever mail came in.

deleted, recreatd rule, activatedit but no action.

Any ideas? Thanks
