Outbox Damage

Hello Everybody,

I have microsoft 2002, I'm having a problem with outlook
express 2002. Every time when I send and e-mail it stays
on my outbox like the mesagge never went out but the
person I send the mail receive it thousans of time until I
clean my outbox any ideas to fix this.

I already upgrade my outlook, scan for viruses, compact
folder, defragment my machine.

I hope you can help me.
