outbox in outlook 2002 and outlook express

B

Ben

Hi there
I am running outlook 2002 and sometimes outlook express on my win 98 system.
I notice that when I send e-mail I get and error message in the
send/received dia. box saying that it could not access my account. However,
the email is actually sent, but a copy of it remains in the outbox.
When I close these programs (either one) I get a message saying "there is
still mail in my outbox do I want to send it now?"
If I select yes then the mail is sent again and the recipient get another
copy of the email. If I select no then the next time outlook starts it sends
yet another copy to the recipent.
Any idea of how to fix this problem?
Right now after the send/received dia. box closes I go into the outbox and
delete any message that is in there.
I am thinkung I might have a virus or something.
