Outbox items can't be deleted

WinXP (SP2) and Office Pro 2003 fully patched. I have a client that is not
able to delete items in his Outbox. He gets a message that reads "One or
more messages can not be deleted" Those items do not appear in his Sent
Items box (they appear caught in limbo). Any ideas? Thanks.

If you continue to have these issues then post back - there is a specific
issue when Windows XP has been updated to SP2 and Exchange is used.
