outbox won't send messages

Hey guys .... i have recently installed outlook 2003 .... whenever i
create a new message and hit send ... it places the message in the
outbox .... but then even when i click send and recieve or send all it
won't send that message. The option of the connection being on lan is
also switched on. The only way i can send the mails right now is to
manually go to the outbox and then double-click on the message and hit
send again. Can any1 help me and tell me what to do cuz it gets a
hassale when i have too many mails to send.

I'm having the same problem with 2000. If you find out
how to fix it would you post it here? I'll do the same.
