outgoing e-mail problem

Hello all,

One user at one of my clients has a consistent problem sending out e-
mail, and I am at a loss as to a resolution. Any input would be
appreciated.

The client has SBS2K installed with Exchange, but is only using the
Exchange server internally. They have a DSL connection, without a
registered domain name.

All users are using Outlook XP configured to point to the internal
Exchange server, plus POP3 pointing to their organization's mail
server, xyz.org, which is managed by someone else.

Everyone is able to send, except for this one user, who's messages
remain in his Outbox for hours on end sometimes.
