Outgoing E-mail

I use verizon dsl, and have no problem sending out emails
from home. Recently I have taken it to a friends office who
also uses Verizon dsl, but I cannot send e-mails using his
connection. I have tried setting up a new account, but that
hasnt worked either. any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.

Check your SMTP server settings - are you set to authenticate to the Verizon
SMTP server?
