Outgoing email not going out

Two days ago my emails stuck in my outbox and continue to attempt sending,
but I keep getting an area that the SMTP server has timed out. Does anyone
have an idea of what's going on?

Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]

How big is the mail in the Out-box? Try setting Outlook to Offline and then
delete the mail. File->WOrk Offline. Close Outlook and ensure it is not
running in Task Manager. Open Outlook and delete or move the mail out of
the Out-box. Click File->Work Offline to go back to online mode.
