outgoing email server

I've been using Outlook on my laptop for more than a year. Since last weekend
my outgoing messages have stopped sending. My ISP says they haven't changed
the name of the outgoing email server. I haven't changed any settings. Any
ideas?

We are to guess that your e-mail account is with your ISP?
It is a secret ISP and why you cannot divulge it here?
Is it a secret error message shown when sending fails?
How do you know Outlook stopped sending?

Are you using port 25 for the SMTP server? Tried port 587 yet? They
may not have changed the host name but they might've changed to port
587 (which, by RFC, is supposed to be the port used by clients, and
port 25 is only to be used by mail hosts talking to each other).
