Outgoing email with large attachment stuck in Outgoing folder

Can anyone help me to delete an email with a large (27 KB & 29 KB)
attachment? Two emails have been "stuck" in the Outgoing folder for a couple
of weeks and "delete" doesn't get rid of them.

As posted here usually more than once a day......

Click File and check Work Offline. Close and then restart Outlook. Delete
the message. Click File and uncheck Work Offline.
