Outgoing emails are sent from wrong (non-default) account

I have multiple email accounts set up and new and reply emails are often sent
from the wrong account. I have the reply email set to the correct account in
each case. Even when I manually select the account from which to send, it
often (but not always) still sends from another account.
I work from three locations, two with the one ISP and the third with a
different ISP.
I have my own mail server set up at one lcation and use that for the
outgoing server in all cases.

We have a similar problem with OL2003. We have two email accounts, one for
Internet mails and the other for Intranet mails (Exchange). With OL2000 every
mails does O.K. e.g. if we have to send a email to two addresses (one for
Intranet, one for Internet) we are able to in one email and send it.
But now with OL2003 it is impossible at all! You must choose the account you
want, or OL2003 use the default account. Then always we have to split the
email into two, one for every email account.

Thanks.

I presume you have Outlook 2003 with SP-1, since there's a bug in that
which causes this to happen. You probably need to authenticate to your
outgoing server on the account on which the mail is *not* sent properly -
set that up on the "Outgoing server" tab for that account.

Actually, you have a different problem. I presume that your Exchange
server is not connected to the Internet, but is only used internally? If
this is the case, Outlook 2003 doesn't handle this case very gracefully and
we can talk about possible workarounds...
