Outgoing message stuck, can't find it to delete it

I keep getting messages all the time about this. I think I have a Read
Receipt stuck, but I can't find it to delete it. It's not in my Outbox. It
won't go because it's for one of my POP mail accounts How can I find it to
remove it, it's driving me bonkers.
