Outgoing server configuration changes by outlook

Gurus,
I have three pop3 accounts on my outlook. In the last
couple of days the all keep changing the outgoing server
to localhost. My user name is changed to my
username/outgoingmailserver (it takes the outgoing mail
server field and attaches it to my user name.
Any ideas why and how to prevent this from happening all
the time?

This is being caused by an anti-spam or an anti-virus program that is on
your computer, not by Outlook.
