Outline Numbering

Created two sets of outline hierarchy, one for the main
document, slightly modified the deault Heading styles one
for the Appendix, using the default heading definitions as
the base.

Heading1, heading 2 Heading 3 for main doc (default styles)

Appendix 1, Appendix 2 for Appendix (user defined styles)

Set Appendix 1 at Level 1
Set Appendix 2 at Level 2, restarting numbering after
Level 1

I couldnt find a way to Change Appendix 2 Outline numbers
with Changes to Appendix 1 Outline. e.g.
1.0 Heading1 (level 1) (using style Heading 1)
1.1 Heading12 (Level 2) (using style Heading 2)
2.0 Heading2 (Level 1) (using style Heading 1)
2.1 Heading21 (Level 2) (using style Heading 2)

In the same document I then created appendix headings user
defined styles.

1.0 Head-Appendix1 (Level 1) (using Styly Appendix 1
1.1 Head-Appendix12 (Level 2) (using Style Appendix 2)
2.0 Head-Appendix2
1.2 Head Appendix22 (Level 2) using Style Appendix 2)

The last line is the problem where Appendix 2 numbering
does not get reset after change in Level 1. One expected
the numbering to be 2.1.

The Word behaviour is eratic because initially the Level 2
numbering using Appendix 2 style was getting linked to the
numbering of Heading1 style, then somewhat miraculously
got linked to Appendix 1 Style but always retained
numbering w.r.t. the first occurance of Appendix 1
style.

Specifically, make sure you set the appendix style numbering up from
Appendix 1 style (user defined styles will always fail on this gotcha -
there's a kludge on the built-in styles that gives some protection), and
don't base your appendix styles on your heading styles.
