Outline Numbering

Is there a way that I can have outline numbering up to 3 levels in a layout
table? I've tried but failed miserably. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what you're asking here. There is the outlining available in
HTML that allows you to use numbers, alpha, and or bullets of your own
choicing.

I want to be able to have paragraph 1 then 1.1 and finally 1.1.1 etc. I'm not
sure of how to create it.
