Outline Tab not changing format level

P

Please Help me

When I am using the outline function and I press tab, it
does not change from "I." to "A." it will just continue
to "II. [tab]" I don't remember changing anything and I
have scoured the preferences but I cannot find a way to
make [tab] change the level of formatting like it used to.

Tools | AutoCorrect Options | AutoFormat As You Type: check the box for "Set
left- and first-indents with tabs and backspaces."
