Outline View with slide previews?

I have recently switched from a PC to a MAC. On the PC version of
PowerPoint, the outline column contained miniature previews of each
slide. Is there a way to do this on the MAC version? I know this
question has come up before, but I don't know that there was a
definitive answer.

No, that can't be done on the Mac version. I agree that the ability to
switch the left pane between Outline and Sorter is helpful in PowerPoint for
Windows, and I'd like to see that in the Mac version as well.

You can submit that feature request to Microsoft.
