Outllok 2003 cannot access adv opt to send icalender format

I currently have Outlook 2003 running on an exchange server. I need to send
meeting/appts to other users on POP3 using Office 2000 & Office XP.

When I send the invitation, they receive it as an email.

In Tools/Options/Preferences/Calendar Options - the field in Advanced
Options - send in Icalendar format is greyed out and cannot be accessed.

Any help/guidance is much appreciated.

Exchange 2000 or 2003 should perform the conversion automatically. What version are you running?
