Outllok 2003 Hyperlinks in Reading Pane not IE

How do I view email hyperlinks in the reading pane without launching IE? That
is, I want Outlook to use the internal browser when I click on these
hyperlinks and not open a new window.

Is that possible? If so, how?

In the meantime, I am forced to cut and paste the links into the Outlook web
toolbar.
