About 20% of the time using Outlook 200 SR-1, recipients
do not receive the attachments I send. I cannot find any
pattern. It occurs with Jpegs and word documents, large
file and small, and varying ISP's (including the one I
use.). When I resend the file, it usually works,
seemingly indicating it is not a problem with the
material being sent. Often in resending I open the file
and send it directly from the program rather than
directly from Outlook. (e.g., from Word using File/Send
to/Mail Recipient as Attachment). This seems to work
better but some of these are not received either.
I could find nothing in outlook help or Microsoft's
Knowledgebase
("attachments", "lost", "attached", "troubleshooting-
recipient problems")
I tried using the Passport help to contact Microsoft, but
I get a message that Outlook (not just 2000, but all
Outlook) is no longer supported in the United States!!
