Outllook 2000 Delegate not being able to send on "Behalf of"

Hello,
I am running Windows XP Outlook 2000 SR-1.
I set up a delagte but theay can not sen d on my beahlf.
They get an error "not authrorized" even though Igave them
permission as editor .anyone have this trouble? I am also
running a hand held w/active sync.
