Outllook 2007 Crashing

T

Tommy

I am a new beta tester in a professional business environment.

When I open / reply / or forward an email after 1 successfull email, Outlook
crashes and comes up with a Kernal32.dll and outlook.exe error and shuts me
down. It then forwards me to a wrong troubleshooting tip for adobe acrobat
language patch which did not help.
I re-installed the beta, no luck....anyone else finding this problem on
their machines?

Please run the "MS diagnostics" from the office start menu and write here if
it finds any problems.
Thanks

I ran MS diagnostics and I shut down outlook and restarted it, same
problem....Does anyone know of any conflicting softwares that might be
interfering with Office 2007?

Ok, I'll write it down:

* Export to mindjet MindManager

*Google Desktop Outlook Tollbar

*Microsoft Exchange Outlook add-in for Unified Messaging

* Microsoft Office SharePoint Server Colleague Import Add-In

* Microsoft Outlook Mobile Service

* Microsoft VBA for Outlook Addin

* Mindjet Mindmanager Topic Alert Linker

* NewsGator

* OneNote Notes about Outlook items

* Search.OutlookToolbar

* SnagIt add-in

That's it. Any clue to which one I need to disable?

1- Disable all Add-ins
2- Restart outlook
3- If the problem disapears go to next step, If you still have problem write
it here
4- Enable the add-ins one by one, after each restart the outlook and try to
see if the problem happens again.
5- You will find the add-in which cause the problem. If not, write back here.
Thank you.

Hello?

Wow, BIG suprise. I got this fixed by disabling Adobe PDF. The bane of all
existance on planet earth.

Try to uninstall adobe acrobat and then run outlook and see what will happen.
MS diagnostic will not fix the problem but will tell you what is wrong and
which software has conflicts with outlook. So when you run the MS diagnostic,
look at the errors, if any, and write them here.

Greetings.
OL 2007 is crashing on me (almost?) everytime I receive a message. I have
removed all of the Add-Ins (as recommended in previously in this thread) and
OL is still crashing.

Here are the details of the ERROR report being generated:

AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 12.0.4017.1006 AppStamp:445b7cf7
ModName: scanotlk.20060521085842.dll ModVer: 13.1.0.139
ModStamp:4432c54c
fDebug: 0 Offset: 00003600

Also, I see the ModName begins with "scan", so just in case this is virus
protection related, I am running "McAfee Total Protection for Small
Business".

Any help would be much appreciated
