Outlook 2007 running under XP Pro. When I have the reading pane enabled,
Send Receives of more than 3 or 4 messages go very slowly and often cause
Outlook to hang up altogether. This morning I discovered that shutting down
the reading pane enabled me to download more than 60 (mostly junk) emails in
under a minute. Could this be an antivirus problem (running Zone Alarm)? I
have disabled all add-ins.
