Outlook 07 mail slow to move to Local PST

I have my Outlook 2007 set up for mail delivery from exchange mailbox to PST,
i can set there and watch my email come in and it will hit my exchange mail
box and it takes 1 to 5 minutes to go to my PST. has any one seen this?

No, but that's because we never set up clients to do that.

Can I ask why you want your default message store to be your PST file?
There are probably a dozen reasons not to do that (including performance
issues).
