Outlook 07: Publish Calendar sharing and view issues

B

Boppy

Hi guys, because my old Sync process was suspected of deleting
appointments, I've decided to try sharing my company's event calendar
via Outlook's "Publish to Office Online" option. It's not really ideal
but until I find something better, at least it's one option to share
info.

I wonder though if anyone can help with these issues:

1) How can I share the whole calendar? Currently I am restricted to 90
days in the past and 90 days in the future. The option for "publish
whole calendar" is greyed out.

2) How to see month view? The most info we can see at one look is
weekly, not really ideal when chefs are trying to get a look in the
future.

Thanks in advance,
Jo

Me again: now I'm getting errors when tyring to invite users:

" error while preparing to send sharing message. Server returned an
error".

and if I try to change sharing options I get this:

"The upload of "Calendar" failed. The next upload attempt occurs with
the next send/receive. Server returned an error".

Please help me?

Are you using Exchange server? Sharing it via the server is much better.

1. Office online supports 90 days for the main calendar. You can't change
it. Other calendars can be published in full.

2. Unless they link it to outlook 2007, they are limited to day and weekly
view viewing it online.

Thanks for your reply. My company does not have an exchange server and
buying this service is not an option. Any other way to get arond the
errors?
