Outlook 2000, Auto mark folders as Read?

Hello,

I have used the rules wizard to autmatically move sent
mails to specific folders. I have created these folders
as sub folders under the 'Sent Items' folder. The only
problem is that I wanted things to be moved here in the
same way as if they were being moved to the 'Sent Items'
but everything that is moved into these new folders are
marked as Unread and a copy is still getting put into
the 'sent items' as well. Is there any way of:

1. Changing the properties on these new folders so that
all entries that are automaticlly sent here are marked as
READ.

2. The corresponding mail is deleted from the 'Sent
items' folder.

1) No.

2) No, not unless you use Run Rules Now to move the messages every few days
rather than running them as the messages are sent.
