After installing MSN Desktop search, Outlook 2000 began reporting an
error message after close down, referring in the detail to omint.dll.
Un-installing MSN Desktop Search solved the problem, but cost
functionality. For reasons I don't undertstand, the problem stopped
after I went, in Outlook, to Tools/Options/Mail Services/Reconfigure
Mail Support and switched from the Internet only choice to the
corporate workgroup choice. This was hard to understand, because the
computer is not part of a corporate workgroup and is simply on a
wireless home network, but it solved the problem.
