I've been scanning the newsgroup, and seen similar
issues, but not quite the same problem: Outlook 2000
Service Pack 3 on Windows XP seems to work fine for about
5-10 minutes, including receiving and sending messages.
But then the "Outlook Must Close" box appears. I've tried
re-installing to no avail. The only think I can think of
that's different is that I've installed Windows updates
and Norton Antivirus updates recently. What's a little
weird is that I seem to be able to continue working in
Outlook with no problems as long as I ignore the "Must
Close" box. Once I click on the send error report or
don't send error report button, Outlook closes.
I've tried disabling accounts or working offline, but
still get the same result. I've also tried quitting every
other program I can find by going to the the task manager
and quitting processes, but I still get the same result.
