Outlook 2000 Doesn't close correctly

I use Outlook 2000 SR-1. When I close my outlook a gray
box stays on the screen and doesn't go away. It states
this: "Please wait while Microsoft Outlook exits."

Is this a known error and is it an error that is fixable
with the Service Packs 2 or 3? When I look at the
information for these two service packs it doesn't seem to
address it.

Any and all help will be greately appreciated,

** Update ** I have installed Service Pack 3 now and this
still doesn't fix the problem. I have found a few threads
that deal with this but nothing that they mention have
fixed this problem yet.

Good news all! I do have a fix for this. You do have to
call Microsoft at 425-635-7056 and tell them you need the
Hotfix for Article 834005. You will be emailed a link to
download a file. The file that you need to run (After
Service Pack 3 is installed) is called outlookff.msp

You will see that there are 2 files and a Readme. You can
double click on the outlookff.msp. Make sure that Outlook
is not open anywhere also.
