Outlook 2000 doesn't prompt for deleting calender item

I just recently got a new computer and installed outlook 2000 on it.
We use Microsoft mail as our client. When I go to delete an item out
of my calendar on my other computer I am prompted if I wanted to
delete item and send a response to other members. With the new
computer, when I pressed delete it prompt me about if I want to delete
all or just the one, but I really want it to prompt me to send a
responce to other members. So as a last effort I tried to repair
office. In that affect I now don't get any warning messages and just
deletes the item. I have checked the option under
tools>options>other(tab)>advanced options and uncheck Warning before
delete and restarted outlook and tried, then rechecked it and retried,
still nothing. I share my contacts to about 30 people(with netfolders)
so I really don't want to complete reinstall outlook. Help plz! thanks
in advance
