Outlook has gone into one of those damn modes where it refuses to
listen to user input because it knows best. I have replied to an
email, I copied a chunk of the original message and pasted it at the
top of the mail. The last piece of text in the copied chunk was bold.
So when I started typing after the copied text, naturally, it came up
in bold. I didn't care, I finished my text and then decided to remove
the boldness by selecting the text and hitting the bold button. I
select the text, hit the bold button and it does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
I can press and press that button and Outlook doesn't care, after all
I'm just the user! I can change the font, change the italic setting
and underline it but I can't unbold the damn text! I even tried using
the Bold option found in Format->Font. Nothing! I even tried
changing a piece of the text without any luck.
I finally found a loophole, I copied the text to Notepad then copied
from Notepad to my Outlook message. What a pain!
