When I attempt to open Outlook 2K, I get a partial Outlook
home page displayed with a freeze up and hourglass in
about 2-3 seconds. Nothing changes when left for up to 30
minutes.
The state that exists at freezeup:
The folder list (on the left) is fully displayed
Only 15 inbox emails are displayed. Below this list is a
solid grayed area
The hourglass is displayed.
No Outlook commands are functional.
The task manager indicates that Outlook is not responding
The only possible correlation is that immediately
preceding the above problem, I emailed with a large file
attachment (~ 30 meg). The problem seems to have occurred
following this event.
