Outlook 2000 - Inbox show duplicate messages

Very strange. Whenever mail is retrieved, all messages
duplicate one-by-one until all are duplicated, then the
duplicates disappear. All messages are then marked
unread. Any ideas, anyone?

Depending on a few things I would try a new profile and new pst... it sounds like damage or server error.

Create a new profile and pst first, this should solve the problem

Thanks Anon. I had a look at the existing profile under
Services and noticed that there were two for Internet
email: the pop server of my ISP and my Exchange server.
No wonder I got two copies! I had not yet setup Personal
Folders.
