outlook 2000 mail merge with word 2000

I'm having trouble sending email newsletters to my clients. I'm mail merging
from word 2000 and outlook makes me confirm each letter sent. The
confirmation message says that 'another program is trying to send an email to
someone in your address list. This could be a virus, do you want to
continue?'

Is there any way to disable this?

This is time consuming when I can have up to 200 letters at a time.

Any advice?

Often caused when you have the Adobe Acrobat PDFMaker add-in.
