Hey everyone,
At work, we are running XP Pro with SP2 and our e-mail
client is Outlook
2000. We upgraded to SP2 about 2 weeks ago. Ever since
then, on my computer
only, new e-mails will mark themselves as read after
about 15 seconds.
Before the SP2 install, e-mails did not get marked as
read until I opened
them up in a new window. I have triple checked all my
settings and I do not
use the preview pane or autopreview at all. By "read" I
mean that when a new
e-mail comes through, I get the taskbar icon and a sound
for notification.
The e-mail in my inbox will be bold showing that it is
unread. Without
touching the computer, highlighting the message, or
anything, the message
will become "unbold" showng that it has been read after
15 seconds or so.
Please help.
