Outlook 2000 Not Responding on Start

O

Outlook User

When starting Outlook everything loads and appears like it is working. When
clicking on an email, or mailbox folder the mouse hour glass appears and
eventually in the upper left corner of Outlook the statement "Not Responding"
appears. If I wait for about 10 minutes it starts responding again. If I
keep Outlook open it will work fine. If I close and reopen, I'm back to
square one.

I am accessing my mailbox through Exchange and don't have a .PST on my
harddrive.

I have tried Disk Defragmenter, Outlook Detect and Repair, Office Update to
current files, removing my email account and readding it. Everyone in our
network is setup the same and no one else is complaining of this problem.
Does this sound network related or is it something on the local client?

Thanks.

Sounds like a networking issue between your machine and the one hosting the
Exchange server.
