Outlook 2000 - not sending email out

i have XP and outlook2000. i created 2 new groups. Prepared my email
message, typed in my group name and hit send. my message was rejected
because one of the email addresses was incorrect. it did NOT send the
message to the other folks in the group and it did not email me
telling which email address was incorrect. What is wrong here...i
have worked with outlook before and i have had incorrect email
addresses, it rejected them, sent me an email with the rejected
address but sent the message to the remainder of correct addresses.

Can anyone help?
