OUtlook 2000 Refuses to Launch

Hi

I'm having this problem quite a lot lately. I click on the Outlook icon and
the programme doesn't launch. Then it prevents me from logging out and I get
the error message: 'Outlook.Exe is not responding'. I'm running Windows XP
Home with SP2 installed.
