Well, when you delete messages from the Inbox and other folders, they first
go to the Deleted Items folder. If you've deleted them from there (or simply
emptied your Deleted Items folder) then the only way you can restore them is
if you're connected to an Exchange Server and your Exchange administrator
has turned on Deleted Item Retention.
If this is the case, you can go to your Deleted Items folder, then choose
Tools, Recover Deleted Items. You will still only be able to recover items
that were deleted within a small time frame.
