Outlook 2000: Send option disappeared

For some reason the send icons (all of them) have disappeared from the standard toolbar and the main toolbar (under file). Also when I try to hit Ctrl + Enter, it still doesn't send. Also tried to add the send command from the customize box, but the send option has disappeared from there too. I've never heard of anyone having this problem before and I'm not sure what to do about it. Does anyone have any ideas?
