Outlook 2000 --- sending emails....automatically getting addresses to come up

here is my situation...before my computer crashed, i would
start typing the email address of a contact and it would
automatically pop in the "to" field...so i didnt have to
memorize everyone or worry about spelling it...only had to
put the first few letters in...and then choose from the
ones that were displayed.

Then my computer crashed and when our tech guy reinstalled
everything, now i cant seem to find out how to do that.

Im a recruiter and use email all day, does anyone have an
answer??? Thanks!!!!
