Outlook 2000 sp3 - security warning. how do you switch off?

M

Martin Harrington

Hi,

A business which I am working for have a Office 2000 setup with network
folders. Since installing sp3, everytime a calendar or contact is updated a
message appears saying ' A program is trying to access the calendar.... this
could be a virus. Do you want it to allow it. How long for... (upto 10 mins).

Is there a registery setting or policy one that will switch this off?

These messages are driving everyone nuts over here. We don't have Exchange
server.

Any help apprecaited.

Thanx,

Martin

It should only happen if you use code - see
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup.htm for more information on the
security features,
