Outlook 2000 Spell Check

Windows XP Pro, SP2
Exchange 2000 Server

I have spell check set to automatically check messages
when sending. Intermittantly, Outlook will stop
responding while doing this. F7 spell check always
works.

Our company has this setting as a policy, so unchecking
that option will be met with resistance. This is only
happening to one person, but that person happens to be
the boss. We've changed out computers for him but the
problem follows him.

Any help would be welcomed!
