Outlook 2000 - Unable to find and Use Out of Office Assistant feature

I have Outlook 2000 SR-1 installed on my desktop at my
company's corporate office. The product id is
06101-OEM-0079624-85020.

The 'out of office assistant' tool is not on the tools
menu or anywhere else and I cannot figure out a way to use
this tool so I can set up my e-mail to automatically
respond to senders with a message that "I am out of the
office".

The Out of Office Assistant is available only if your mailbox is on an
Exchange server. Otherwise, you have to use rules to emulate it. See
