outlook 2000 w/ exchange 2003

I am having a problem connecting outlook 2000 with the
exchange server from a 98 box. When I go to "services"
and add the exchange service I get an error message stated
that the action can not be completed or that the name can
not be resolved. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
