Outlook 2000:When writing in html format, text won't 'wrap' even .

When writing a message in html format, text won't 'wrap' even though the wrap
preference is set to 76 (which I think was the default). The page keeps
scrolling across. This is a new development. It hasn't done this before. Have
I inadvertently changed a setting?
