Outlook 2000 will not shutdown

a problem that i've found similar to the one your
describing is when we had another piece of software
holdling some of the mapi API's open which kept Outlook
itself open. do you have any programs running in the
background that may be attaching to Outlook like PDA sync
software??? if so, try closing that down first, then
close outlook and see if it still stays open...

I had already checked to make sure that wasnt the case.
Thanks for responding. One of the weird things with this
issue is, that it is not only happening on the clients
workstation, it is also happening on another workstation
that I set his account up on for troubleshooting purposes.
Any help will be appreciated.

How do you close Outlook 2000?

Try clicking on "File", "Exit and Log Off" instead of just
clicking on the "X" or clicking on "File", and "Exit".
