I have a Windows XP machine running Outlook 2000. I have removed it from
the Exchange Domain and placed it into a Workgroup, and although the
Internet Access works (IE has no problems using the connection), Outlook
itself is unable to collect email from a POP3 server. Instead it gives the
following error:
Unable to connect to the server (Account: '[email protected]',
POP3 Server: '11.22.33.44', Error Number 0x800ccc0e
I have placed the machine on my home broadband network ant set it up to use
my router gateway. Web browsing works, ping works, but Outlook does not.
Any help would be appreciated.
