OUTLOOK 2000

Ricky

Hi,

I am currently using Office 2003. I was wondering if I remove Outlook 2003 and replace it with Outlook 2000 in conjunction with the rest of the components in 2003 etc would this cause a conflict. My reason for installing 2000 is that an Olympus DSS Voice Recording programme which I use regularly won't work with Outlook 2003 but will with 2000.

Many thanks.

You will lose all Office integration features such as WordMail. Your data
will not be readable by Outlook 2000 unless you are careful to create an
older version PST file while you still have Outlook 2003 running. For the
most part, mixing versions is not recommended.

You wont be able to other Office programs in collaboration with it i.e. Word
as Email Editor, Send to command may not work.

Hi Ricky

I am experiencing the same problem with Outlook 2003 and Olympus DSS files.
Did you ever discover a way to email DSS files from Outlook 2003?

Regards and thanks.
